Ryan is skilled in traditional drawing techniques,
digital illustration techniques, 2D and 3D animation, photography,
and graphic and web design. He is Mac and PC proficient and is
experienced in programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects,
Premiere, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, 3D Studio Max, QuarkXPress,
and the Microsoft Office Suite. Ryan won the Instructional Line
Award of Excellence for his illustration, "Spinal Cord T5-T9,"
at the Association of Medical Illustrators 2004 salon.
Although art is one of Ryan's first loves, he also has a fondness
for marshmellows, his two cats, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He
is not particularly fond of tofu, high golf scores, or the Chicago
Cubs.
